April vacay! I usually tag-along with Rod’s family when they have trips. And this was our first getaway in Visayas together! :D
(Sorry for the poor quality of the photos. Some were just taken using iTouch)
DAY 1

We flew to Cebu via Zest Air.

Rod’s bro Andrei and nephew Alain.
DAY 2

At Magellan’s Cross. 5min walk away from the hotel where we checked in.
We only stayed overnight in Cebu. Visited a few attractions, shopped for pasalubongs (i miss their danggit!) and that’s it. “Island-hopped” to Bohol right away!

The ferry trip from Mandaue to Tagbilaran was around 2 1/2 hours.

Stayed in Dumaluan Beach Resort in Panglao Island. 30mins away from Tagbilaran.

The first thing we did was to check to beach! The best I’ve seen so far! Fine sand + extra clear water = heaven!!! I’m not a fan of beaches but I totally fell in love with this one!
DAY 3
First in the list on our day 3 itineray was the world-famous CHOCOLATE HILLS! There were 1200+ of them! DROOOL!!

2nd attraction: butterfly farm!

Naughty Roddy :D
THE HANGING BRIDGE!

Next stop: LOBOC RIVER! Bohol adventure wouldn’t be complete without having lunch here. There are many floating restaurants to choose from and all are very affordable! A buffet lunch only costs Php400/head.

When we were almost done with our lunch, we heard locals singing from afar. And when we were already close to them, I swear, i had goosebumps! They were absolutely amazing! Plus those ukuleles added cuteness to their performance!! The floating resto stopped for a while in here and syempre best in participation ako! (sorry, can’t help to make singit gay expressions :)) Baba agad and watched them close! Haha.

See, best in participation! Haha. Wasn’t contented with watching them close…. dragged Rod and joined them! :D

Alain’s ukulele

I find it amazing because there are few stilt houses here and yet they manage to maintain the river clean and odor-free, unlike in the Pasig river. Kudos to them!
MEET THE TARSIERS!

I kind of feel sorry for the tarsiers here. They were taken from the forests and transferred into a small area. I learned from my professor that ONE tarsier should have at least 9km in the forest as its own home. If they’re captured and put into a cage, they’d bump their head to death. That’s how sensitive Tarsiers are.
DAY 4

I forgot the name of the church beside this bell tower :(
HINAGDANAN CAVE

Look at the background. Those snake drawings are believed to have been painted by cavemen hundreds of years ago. No retouch! <Just a thought - I think they have to prohibit taking pictures with flash in here if they want to preserve it longer.

Don’t you just love the effect of the natural light?

next stop: BEE FARM

The whole province of Bohol proved me that Filipinos need not to go to other countries to see such amazing and jaw-dropping places! Napa-“WOW PHILIPPINES” ako dito in fairness! Haha.
My friend, Pam, went to Florida, USA for her on-the-job training. I was actually supposed to go with her, but something came up and so I backed out.
Anyway, last Saturday (June 25), we decided to have our traditional Starbucks session though our class was suspended. It’s a big deal for us to meet on days that we don’t have classes because all of us in our barkada are lazy and kuripot! But since we miss Pam toooo much… no excuses!

Pam & Mau
She’s one of the dearest persons to my heart so imagine how excited i was to see her and how big my smile was when I finally saw her. A day without this crazy girl is :’( and 3 looonng months without her is hell!!!

Bibay & Joyce

Bibay, Mau and Joyce.
We call ourselves Lamon Girls because we’re always on the go when anyone of us in Bibigirls invites for a lunch / snack / dinner out. Sometimes, we even eat in 3-4 different restos in a day (mostly unplanned). Food indulgence it is!

With Joyce again.

Sir Pamis, Pam, Joyce and Bibay
Sir Pamis was our Economics professor who eventually became our close friend. He has never failed to catch up with us when he’s free. Text him on the last minute, he’ll still be there.

Pam & Bibay

Buuurrrpp.
It was our first time to have SB session at Northgate. We usually go to ATC or Madrigal branch but this time, we wanted a new atmosphere… and yahoo, we chose the right place! We’ll surely go back! Hopefully, all the 6 or 7 of us are present next time :D

Went to Marinduque last May with my mom, boyfriend and some family friends. It was my third time to go there and as for Rod (my bf), it was a first. Marinduque is not our province, we just keep on coming back since the people there are very very accomodating and nice! Plus, if you are looking for some peaceful and quiet place or if you want some quality time alone, this is where you should be!

at Villa Aplaya.

On our balcony, over-looking the beach. Excuse me for the messy background ^_^

at the view deck.

Pictures don’t do justice! The island is way way beautiful in person!!! If you look at it carefully, it actually looks like an elephant bathing on the sea. That’s why it’s called as the Elephant Island.
Years ago, it was turned into a first class resort, Bellarocca Island Resort and Spa. And now, it already looks like a mini Santorini. I promised myself to check in at this resort once i start earning. Well, I better work hard since a villa costs $400-$600 a night.

Got this pic from the official website of Bellarocca. Told ya, it’s the Philippines’ mini Santorini :D
Decided to go back on Tumblr! :D Wasn’t able to maintain my old blog cause I totally don’t have the skill in writing which is an essential tool for bloggers. Apparently, this led to the loss of my interest in Tumblr. So why did i come back? I dunno :p I don’t know what’s gotten into me. Anyway, will try my very best to update this once in a while.
